Meet our team in Orlando, Florida USA and join them at Global Produce & Floral Show 2026. The event takes place from 14 to 16 October 2026. Come by our stand and see for yourself how our scanners instantly assess the important quality parameters in fresh produce, such as Brix, dry matter, and visual defects. Quality control for soft fruits, without cutting a single piece of fruit

Our scanners use near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy to assess the internal quality of fruit in seconds. All without slicing, squeezing, or otherwise destroying it. Because every scanned piece stays saleable, you can check far more of a batch than a lab allows, and get the data and insight you need before shipment.

Avocado
Avocado ripeness is one of the harder calls in the supply chain: oven methods are slow and destructive. We measure dry matter, the parameter most closely tied to how an avocado will taste and feel once it is ready to eat. Because the scan does not damage the fruit, you can test far more of a batch than a destructive oven method allows, and use that dry matter reading to decide with confidence when a batch should ship and to where.

Strawberry
Strawberries are judged on sweetness and appearance, and both can shift within a day of harvest. We measure Brix to give you an objective sweetness reading in seconds, instead of relying on a handful of manually cut samples to represent an entire batch. At the same time, our visual inspection checks for dry and wet spots automatically. Catching the kind of surface defects that are easy to miss during a fast pack-out but expensive once they turn up in a strawberry punnet on the shelf. Combined, the two checks mean a batch can be graded on real data before it ships.

Blueberry
Blueberry sweetness varies more than most people expect, not just from batch to batch, but from block to block and sometimes berry to berry. We measure Brix on every scanned berry, replacing a destructive test of the berry, and pair that with firmness, since a soft berry is often the first sign of a batch that won't hold up in transit.Visual inspection adds a third layer, flagging defects and sizing before a batch is packed rather than after it's opened at the store. Together, that gives growers, distributors, and retailers a consistent basis for deciding which batch goes to a premium retail contract, which one moves through a value channel, and which one is not quite ready yet. It turns a subjective sorting call into one backed by real numbers, at the speed a blueberry needs.

Curious what these readings look like on your own fruit? Book a meeting with the team and come by the stand for a live demo, on strawberry, blueberry, or avocado.

Avocado Scanner

Alongside our quality control line for growers and distributors, we build the Avocado Scanner made specifically for supermarkets. It tells shoppers exactly how ripe an avocado is, without the need to squeeze. It is also one of our most shared products online, shoppers post their scan often enough that the scanner and retailer go viral on social media. Retailers worldwide have installed it and anyone can find their nearest one at avocadoscanner.com. For shoppers the scanner means picking an avocado that is to there liking without guessing. For retailers it means fewer bruised avocados on the shelf and fewer returns. If ripeness at the point of sale is a challenge in your stores, come find us at the stand to see it in action.
