One objective standard, from every grower and every batch

Morocco's strawberries and blueberries mostly move into demanding export markets, and export buyers in Europe hold every batch against their own quality control process, no matter which farm or which picker it came from. The trouble is that manual grading is never quite that consistent. Two inspectors checking the same crate can land on different calls. And once fruit from several growers gets pooled for a shipment, that inconsistency compounds fast.

That's the gap our NIR-powered scanners can close. In a few seconds, without cutting or squeezing a single berry, it measures Brix on both strawberries and blueberries. Replacing a judgment call with one objective sweetness reading. For both berries, we also offer visual inspection to catch dry and wet spots before a punnet leaves the packhouse. For blueberries, where Brix can already vary from block to block within a single farm, that same consistent reading turns a guessing game into usable data. Either way, every berry gets checked the same way, whichever grower, block, or line it came from.

That consistency is what buyers actually reward. A scan gives every batch, from every supplier, one comparable number, so a grading decision holds up regardless of who ran the check or when. For an exporter aggregating fruit from dozens of growers, that's the difference between a smooth load-out and a costly rejection once the shipment reaches its buyer.
