One of the biggest events of the year is FRUIT LOGISTICA, and of course, we will be there! Meet us in Berlin, Germany, on February 4-6 at stand D-25 in hall 3.1. We are excited to give you a demonstration of our AI-driven Visual Inspection and quality control solution, or come by and try out the Avocado Scanner for yourself. Do you want to secure the opportunity to speak with us? Plan your meeting in advance.
Objective visual inspection
Our AI-driven Visual Inspection ensures objective digital quality control. The system objectively grades key parameters such as size uniformity, visual defects, and color intensity, ensuring that the best strawberries reach the consumer. By detecting visual defects early, we prevent unnecessary transportation, packaging, and storage of substandard fruit. Reducing food waste and its associated carbon footprint.
This technology ensures consistent data-driven strawberry grading, reducing waste and improving efficiency. As the set-up is easy to handle is deployable at any scale and stage of the fresh produce supply chain. This technology reduces the workload of the quality control staff and increases the efficiency of the process, as well as providing actionable data.
Nondestructive testing
Unlike traditional methods, with our technology, you can test the produce without destroying the fruit. Our scanner, using infrared technology, measures important parameters such as brix. Additionally, it provides a shelf-life prediction. Saving operators time by a factor of ten. By knowing the shelf-life of fresh produce, you can ensure that the right produce reaches the right places at the right time.
Our quality control technology is applicable throughout the supply chain, with a focus on strawberries, blueberries, and avocados. Shelf life prediction enables optimized distribution, lowers costs, and helps minimize food waste and losses.
Avocado Scanner
In addition to our quality control solutions, we developed the Avocado Scanner, which is incredibly popular with both consumers and retailers. The scanner accurately indicates the ripeness of an avocado, making the customer experience better by eliminating the need to guess or risk bruising the fruit. At the same time, it helps increase avocado sales and reduces avocado waste.
FRUIT LOGISTICA
Over the course of three days, FRUIT LOGISTICA brings together industry professionals, such as OneThird, from the entire supply chain, including technology, logistics, fresh produce, and machinery. The event attracts a lot of visitors each year and offers networking opportunities to share expertise and explore new collaborations. We are looking forward to seeing you at our stand D-25 in hall 3.1!
