We are looking to expand our team with a Business Development Manager - Retail (M/F).

Did you know one-third of all food produced globally is wasted? At OneThird, we’re on a mission to change this. Using AI-powered near-infrared (NIR) scanning technology, we empower retailers to reduce waste, improve quality control, and optimize fresh produce sales. Recognized at CES 2023, we are now poised to exponentially grow sales of our Store Scanners in 2025.

 

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and grow of our retail business, either through channel partnerships or direct with the larger retail chains. As a result driving 5x revenue growth in 2025. You’ll recruit and enable resellers, expand our presence across Europe and beyond, and support partners to succeed in selling our cutting-edge technology to retailers.

 

Responsibilities

          • Channel Partner Expansion: Recruit and onboard resellers and distribution partners in key markets.
          • Partner Enablement: Provide training, resources, and tools to help partners sell and support our technology.
          • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a strategy to achieve aggressive revenue targets, creating scalable sales processes.
          • Collaboration: Work with Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with customer goals.
          • Market Expansion: Drive international growth by managing relationships with partners in Europe and other regions.
          • Performance Tracking: Monitor partner performance, analyze metrics, and identify growth opportunities.
          • Brand Positioning: Represent OneThird at events and trade shows to establish the company as a leader in waste reduction technology.

 

Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years in channel sales, business development, or partnership management, preferably in tech, retail, or AI-powered solutions.
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through reseller networks.
    • Strong knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and international market expansion strategies.
    • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and strategic thinking skills.
