Location: Enschede or Amsterdam/ Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: €500/month internship stipend
Type: Full-time internship (approx. 32–40 hours/week)
About the Role
We're developing WasteWise, a quick-scan tool to help our customers map food waste hotspots and calculate how OneThird’s technology can help. This internship is about designing and prototyping this tool, combining supply chain insights, business modelling, and impact thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Structure and design the WasteWise scan assessment framework
- Analyze customer supply chains and identify waste generation points
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to define high-impact tech interventions
- Build simple business case and ROI models for OneThird solutions
- Develop a reusable scan tool (Excel prototype, dashboard, etc.)
- Collect feedback from early users and refine tool usability and value proposition
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills and basic supply chain & financial modelling
- Understanding of supply chains and operations
- Excellent communicator (customer interviews, internal alignment)
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience with consulting-style frameworks is preferred(e.g., value chain mapping, root cause analysis)
- Familiarity with Excel automation, Airtable, or low-code tools is preferred
- Affinity with food waste or agri-tech is preferred
- Study background in:
- Supply Chain Management

- Agri-Food Systems / Food Technology
- Sustainability / Circular Economy
