About the Program

OneThird is expanding its network of in-market representation for its NIR-based dry matter and quality-control scanning technology, used across avocado, strawberry, and blueberry supply chains. We are looking for one Country Ambassador per market to lead local commercial development, grower and packer relationships, and market entry activities.

This is an independent, commission-eligible representation role. Retainer and commission structure are set per candidate, based on profile, experience, and existing network. Ambassadors act as the face of OneThird in their country, building the pipeline from first grower contact through pilot programs to scaled adoption.

What You'll Own

• Development and execution of a country strategy for your market.
• Identification, outreach, and negotiation with growers, packers, distributors, and retailers.
• Running demonstration and pilot programs with measurable KPIs (e.g. shrink reduction, sorting accuracy, operational savings).
• Post-sale follow-up and local technical support.
• Local social media and content presence — technical, credible, in the local language.
• Representing OneThird at key industry congresses, trade associations, and technical workshops.
• Working closely with the Regional Manager and Founder on strategy, pipeline, and deal support.

Who We're Looking For

This is a consultant-style engagement, not a salaried hire. We're looking for people who already move in the fresh produce world, not candidates starting from zero and building a network on our time.

• An existing network of contacts among growers, packers, exporters, or distributors in the target country's avocado / strawberry / blueberry sector.
• Credibility in the industry — through prior commercial, agronomic, or technical roles in produce, trade, or packing house operations.
• Comfort working independently, managing your own pipeline and relationships without close day-to-day supervision.
• Working understanding of fresh produce quality control — dry matter, sorting, grading, or shrink/loss management — so conversations with growers and packers land as credible, not generic sales talk.
• Fluent in English or Spanish — mandatory.
• Existing ties to relevant associations, congresses, or industry bodies are a strong plus.

How to Apply

We are not asking for a traditional CV-first application. Instead, send us a short business case — your own Approach Plan for how you would take OneThird to market in your country.

• Market read: your view of the country's avocado / strawberry / blueberry supply chain and where OneThird fits.
• Sales approach: how you'd sequence education, credibility-building, pilots, and scaling.
• A first target list: 8–15 named growers, packers, or exporters you'd approach first, with your reasoning.
• Key associations, congresses, or channels you'd use to build presence.

Commercial terms (retainer and/or commission) are set based on each candidate's profile, experience, and existing network — no need to propose your own terms in the business case.
Business case should be no more than 3 pages. Clarity and local insight matter far more than length.
